It is just off J11 of the M1
Visiting hours are 3pm-8pm
No more than 3 visitors at the bedside
You MUST use the handcleaner on entering & exiting the ward - its by the door.
Please do not sit on the bed
Only 1 relative is allowed to remain on the ward at mealtime, between 5.15 and 6.15, this is really to help with meals and allow the patient to eat in a calm environment.
If you have some music that will help Andrew to remember a connection with you or that you know he really likes please put it on a CD, he has a CD player. It will also help to take in some pictures of things to help him remember things you have done together - he is trying to piece back together who is.

If you're planning a visit you could put the visit on the online calendar at www.letsbuzz.org.uk/andrew
ReplyDeleteAny of Andrew's friends from further back know of a 'maroon Egmond' guitar? The occupational therapist wants to try him out tomorrow to see if his guitar playing is still there, and this is the instrument he has asked for. Gill thinks that this may be something from the seventies which he is remembering. I only know of his Washburn acoustic (and of course the flashy blue Pacifica!) We're booked to try to do a bit of guitar playing at 3pm tomorrow (Friday), which is when I notice that Dave has pencilled in a visit. Don't know how this will work- come anyway and listen/jam along, Dave? Not sure.
