Andrew is hoping to play a half hour set at the Spratton festival in Northamptonshire see http://www.sprattonfestival.com/ next Sunday 12th July with friends Chris Wilkinson, Peter Flint and Michael Heath (The Volume Brothers). It would be great to see anyone who's going. They will be on about 8ish.
Also, Stomp will be doing a benefit gig for the Stroke Ward at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital in the Sports and Social Club there on 3rd October at 7.30pm. We are finalising the details now. Numbers are limited to 100 due to the size of the club, so if you want to come along make sure to let me know asap! (Hopefully this will not clash with his heart op).
Andrew is slowing getting a little more memory and managing to work some things out from clues around him e.g. that it is Saturday by what is on the radio. He knows some things now - like why he feels like he does, without being told all the time. He had his MRI scan last week and it went OK, he stayed still and they got good images. We won't know the result for a while. However, he did suddenly get very emotional in the hospital reception while we were waiting to see the fundraising lady there after the scan, and we were hurried into a little room! He is still tired and sleeps a lot.
Love to you all
Gill
